Lower buds are still getting pistols. Smells divine so much added aroma’s and heavier. They keep sinking. Lol
Been trying out these grove bags. I put some cured stuff in almost a month and it’s at 61% it says between 58-62%.
I’m going to cure some of this harvest and check it out. And the vacuum jars as well.
We’ll I have to say I’m pretty happy. Not so dark and much heavier. The trich color is a little darker and tasty
Congratulations ![]()

Built my A/C trigger for the hub. Plug the adapter into the Hub and the yellow plug into a 110 outlet and the plug for the A/C. This way I only pull 1amp from the Hub instead of 10amps when it kicks on. Pretty cool
It’s a mock up. Don’t condemn me.
I have to set it up in the closet. Pretty excited ![]()
looks a little dangerous. Couldn’t you just set the ac temp on the ac unit? Not sure how the hub works. Not trying to condemn you just not sure what’s going on
The A/C has a hi -low fan setting and a dial for cooler or warmer. I got it this way so it can just kick on at the temperature I have set on the hub. The hub controls a/c. Humidifier. Dehumidifier and heater.
Yeah all the wiring will be enclosed. It will be clean and safe looking.
Also withe hub I can control everything plugged into it all the time from anywhere. Total control.
This takes the strain off the hub and still leaves the run at 15amps. Instead of drawing from the hub it draws from the wall out. The ssr relay just acts as a switch with only 5v and 1amp draw. ![]()
The Hub automatically keeps temperature and humidity right on point. Helps with VPD if using C02.
But even without C02 it does it’s thing anyway I just add water.
appreciate sharing as it was great to see what a spare closet can do
nice work
Added this moisture meter to the lineup. Trying to be more precise with drying before curing. Day 3 of dry time and the moisture content is right on point. Being able to use the closet as a dry chamber works awesome with temperature and humidity control.

what is your target humidity and temp when drying?
the slower the cure process definitely makes the quality better ![]()
perhaps try a “dry trim” next harvest
…i tried both "wet and dry" and will only “dry trim” from now on as it helps slow down the dry process…i like to consider the cure process to start as soon as you cut her down ![]()
79F 50% I’ve only just begun this. You think as long as my moisture levels are ready I should start curing?
I agree. Seems to dry pretty quick especially when the buds are loose. I’m going to go ahead and dry trim next go around. Thanks for the advice ![]()
My flower stems are a little smaller than a toothpick and are flexible but rigid still. My branch
Moisture is at 35%.
perhaps as some wet trim buds can dry out fast (2-3 days) pending where you live and time of year …
i try to “drop down” RH% during the cure process with more daily burping and not use humidity control packs to “bring up” the RH% to 62…if possible…
dropping your temp down to 70F
or so when drying could help extend your dry time…hope you have your lights off too

Yes sir. Lights off and after reading your article yesterday I’ve lowered the temp and humidity.
75F-35%. This morning is 4 days. The good smells are powering through the grass smells today.
Do I wait for the flower stem snap then cure?
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you @ChicagoCypher_CC
reducing temps (70ish) is good…but reducing humidity that low is not recommended during dry time…i target around 55% during dry time to try to slow down the dry
however lowering to 35% or so during the last couple weeks of flower is recommended to assist with density and color changes of your buds
i assume your buds will be ready to transfer to your curing method real soon …5 days was too long on my last wet trim but it all based on your environment set-up…nice to hear about the good smells ![]()
how do your buds “feel”? hopefully there still “spongy”
and not “brittle” ![]()
Yeah I misread something I’m back to 50%.
Very spongy still. I think tomorrow will be ready. It’s moist for sure. Thanks for looking out ![]()
