First tent grow Cherry pie

The squares in my net are quite a bit smaller than your net if it starts to stretch up you should be able to put each branch into the net squares to spread them apart.

On the bush I would clean up a bit after stretch is complete. Should happen between day 16 to 21 of flowers in that area.

This is what I would do but I’m sure other people do it differently

Quick question what is a good ppm/ec reading for run off? Can you kind of break it down a little for me @Mpower11 and ph range in and out

This will be my thoughts… I’m not big on pushing nutes. When you see your tips of your fan leaves burn’t not always but most of the time soil has to much nutes in it…

For Leach I like to see

EC of 1500
Ph for Soil range is 6.0 to 7.0

Example for Ph

If you soil Ph is 7.2 I would feed around 6.0 to start to bring it down…

If your soil Ph is 5.8 I would feed around 7.0 ro start to bring it up

If your PH is in range say 6.5 then I would feed around 6.3 next watering 6.7

Make sense?

Yes thank you Makes sense so ec of 1500 would = 750ppm? My blue labs pen shows 1.2 and such when set on ec so just want to make sure I understand correctly. I just fed water with cal mag to bring it down some and probably need to work my ph up some

EC of 1.2 = 1200 (same thing)

Just use Ec for now it’s universal …

With PPm there is different Scale’s… If you want to use PPm you need to found out what scale your meter is…

It’s to hard for me to example but here is a fast google on it

When you start getting leach with a Ec of 2.0 and above this is when Tip burn can start…

Just a FYI

As the soil gets dryer the Ec will increase with synthetic…

10-4 thanks for the clarification. I am above 2.0.
I water two plants at a time first the back 2 then the front 2 and check the runoff on each set.
So I can’t speak to each individual plant but I can speak to their runoff as a set. I did not add any nutrients this time (Because of Already high run off last time) other than cal mag stuff which I normally don’t add. Because my nutes have them in there already. Back set Ph water with sensi cal mag extra brought ec from 0 to .5 when following manufactures recommendations. Ec-.5 Ph-6.3 in…… Out Ec-2.7 Ph5.8. front set Ec in .5 ph6.3. Out Ec-4.3 :open_mouth: Ph-5.7. So based off what you told me my plan of attack is going to be give them 7.0 pH water with about a third of the dose of Cal mag that I gave this time for the next feeding and check run off again and evaluate. How does that sound. And the plants are still looking good but I do see some burnt tips! They were just watered today so will be another 4 or 5 days before time again. Mind you I did this first thing this morning before we started talking I’m on east coast time

So I understand your saying your feed water has a EC of 4.3?

My leach water from two of the plants had a ec of 4.3. My feed water had a ec of . 5 after adding that cal mag stuff

In my opinion you Leach Ec is very high… Your doing the right thing no more nutes right now… Don’t let the soil get super dry at this moment because the EC will get even higher and burn your roots…

Even your cal/mag is feed is high… RO water then add cal/mag to a Ec of 0.2 or 0.3 is lot’s

You have the right idea on PH also

If you see them starting to burn only option is to flush the soil…

Thank you that actually makes a lot of sense now, I believe that’s when the tip burns began when I let the soil dry. It doesn’t seem to be hindering growth and it’s not to bad of burns right now but what do I know.! So I will water a day early ec .2 after cal mag and ph 7.0. Probably 3 more days till water again so I’ll do it in 2. The tip burns actually seem to not be as bad as they were before I thought it was something to do with a nutrient deficiency. Kinda hard to decipher these plants at firstThank you so much for taking the time to help me understand. @Mpower11 also thinking it wouldn’t hurt to feed about another 1/2 gallon to each plant next time to help flush a little more

Just a suggestion. Don’t put your second scrog net in till you have all your colas . The scrog is for holding up leaning colas. Good looking plants bro

I saw the ppm scales as well mine had both 500 and 700. Would probably use 500 it seems to be half of the ec from playin with it but maybe more accurate than ec for my pen. I don’t know

Thanks for the advice!
My tent is really crowded so my plan was to use the scrog to help guide the tops to less crowded areas. But I may try to move the scrog up slowly after everything is starting coming through, Just want to get some more separation during the stretch

Plants look really nice I would only feed Cal/mag until your EC is around 1.5 (run off) if they were my plants

Watered first 2 so far only added cal mag
And watering them individually
#1 feed water in ph 7.2 ec .3
Leach water out ph 6.2 ec1.4
#2 feed water ph 7.2 ec .2
Leach water out ph 5.8 ec 2.6
Feed 3 gallons to each plant to try to leach a little more. Going to water. The other 2 now @Mpower11
