You could for sure if you want only thing I would recommend is you make sure all new growth is 100 % on track. You can fix the plant in Veg. Once is flower not so easy

I will do thinking wait at least a week or two more feeding to see how they respond. I mis understood the feed chart last feeding and
Only have them 1/4 strength but that’s probably for the best ease them in

I would feed half rate of what there guide says without even reviewing it.

Sweet!! looks very clean… That’s going to work…

Your going to be very happy you installed this… Now you can water correctly with no worries of water on the floor… Plus at the end of the grow your going to want to flush all the synthetic nutes out of your soil for cleaner tasting buds… To do this you need to flush alot of water threw the pot… This was going to be hard with your old setup but not anymore

Thank you couldn’t do it with out you! @Mpower11 you put the hard work in figuring this all out! Now to start thinking about the watering situation, it can be difficult to get to the back plants at times. Would be nice to have a reservoir that could some how pump the water to the plants in equal parts. I could even figure out the reservoir part later but maybe use a 5 gallon bucket for a reservoir for now and just mix each feeding I’ve seen the circle rings that go around the plant any suggestions

Your welcome

I have rebuilt my tent many times and bought gear 2 to 3 times… Wasted so much money…

Your thinking on the right track if you want to make your life easy on irrigation… Have you seen my topic on how auto you can make your tent? I just finished upgrading to my dream irrigation system it uses the Halo rings. This is the best method by far but the hardest to setup… Let me know if you seen the topic

I have tried many different ways cheapest / easiest way would be a simply drip system… I can you send you pictures if this if you want…

Yes I have and I was just looking it back over. You got a lot going on there looks really nice. I’m sure it gets pricey with that automation system. But that’s the end goal!

I have seen them I feel like the halo would provide a more even watering. I was thinking something like a bilge pump in a 5 gallon bucket feeding the main line come into the tent and split that line and then split them again as even as possible giving 4 feed lines for the halos and maybe put some valves in front to help regulate. Kinda primitive to start or maybe even see if there are pumps with variable pressure

Man the amount of help you are is amazing. If you only saw me the first time I tried to water to run off :man_facepalming: was a mess water everywhere. Was not a happy day :joy:. I still got to get some screens Where exactly did you put yours it doesn’t look like I can put it on the pump maybe on the connection to the drain away tray on each plant? Can’t say it enough. THANK YOU!!!

Had to get some pictures before I could reply… Let me know what you like and we can focus on that idea or your idea… Time to make your head spin a bit…lol

All true

I have some idea’s for you all options have there Pro’s and Con’s

Option 1

Rings… This is what I’m using now. Comes in 3 sizes…

Pro water’s around the whole pot
Con’s need a pump with power
Con’s you can only water 10 to 20 sec at a time or you will flood the pot to much volume to fast With a good timer problem is solved
Valves are installed to control flow and pressure guages on all the lines to confirm even flow

Option 2

Drip system non pressure regulated emitters

Note: the pump in option 1 will NOT work with option 2…

Con since not regulated by pressure water not 100% even watering Installing a ball valve inline on the drip fixes this problem

Pro don’t need a crazy power pump to run

Here is the ball valve

Pump like this in your bucket will work

Option 3

Same drip system but emitter open at 15 psi for even watering That is why I have a pressure gauge on the liine

Option4

FloraFlex dripper

General tools needed / idea’s

Something like this water drips lid and moves the water around the pot

Gun to make holes in the drip line

Ball Valve to control flow

Each tray is a good idea for sure. Right now I only have 1 at the end of line that flows into the pump I can get a picture

You are 100% right on a variable speed pump that is the best way to go but I have not been able to find a good variable speed pump at a good price they are not cheap… Unless you know of one

That makes sense probably easiest option to clean later to could just cut a piece of screen and holding on by a hose clamp rubber band or whatever for easy removal later. As for all the rest I need some time to digest LOL that’s a lot you got going on pretty amazing!

Ever thought about installing something like this right after the pump instead of a variable pump to regulate the pressure so they can run longer? they look to be adjustable. But I guess not enough pressure and the rings don’t water evenly as well. Just thinking out loud before I forget.

That was my thought I only have to clean 1 screen vs many don’t side is the junk goes in the line…

I figured that… I think easiest to setup and cheapest maybe option 4

biggest con to drip system is doesn’t water the whole pot… Adding 2 to 4 emitters per pot aids with this or some lid to move water around.

I understand what you mean but I don’t think this will work with my setup… I need to choke back the flow at the ring vs main line…

Now if I had a pump with more power your idea with a regulator may work
