So I got woke up to my wife telling me the box was draining but it shouldn’t have becuz I didn’t give it permission, did it all on its own and took nutes with it! How sweet ! 
My question is… I didnt put nutes back in yet so it’s just distilled water in tank for now, my normal drain and fill is tonight at 9 will it be OK to just have the water in for a couple of hrs without nutes? My plan is to do drain and fill then hook up new nutes and wait for them to dispense the take hoses out of nutes to make sure they don’t get drained again. Is that a good idea or does it dispense after drain and fills?

Yep, no worries about no nutes. I’d check the ph of the water though if you can.

Usually dispenses the nutes like a half hour after ur water 
change

It is a good idea! The Grobo does dispense periodically to keep levels accurately ph"d but you can manually check your ph occasionally to make sure things are staying on target.
