Yeah he’s no expert. And don’t think he considered breeder. Just picked a strain. He grew GDP outside with minimal techniques. The plant was five feet and yielded over a pound. Your right about negative possibilities with seeds though. IMO unless you’re 100% in all the specs and procedures in growing how would you know really? Experience and advice is all we have.
My Dos si Dos is from homegrown cannabis co. Never bought seeds before and didn’t look around enough. I got a deal but have 15 seeds of Dos Si Dos. My seeds pop on day 4. 3 times so far. This I know for sure ![]()
Great recovery
Right on. I appreciate the help. I’ll give them a shot and see where it goes.
Looks great!!! Nice recovery
You still using this cabinet? Still enjoy it? Also does it keep the smell in or does it leak out?
Yep. Getting ready to use it in a few days. No smell unless your nose is literally up against a crack. In the beginning I would open the door a couple times a day just to give it a boost of fresh air. Definitely don’t have to though. It has a fan when controlling humidity that exchange’s air when on. 55% for ten days 58% for 30 days or whatever you want. 58% - 62% cure seems to be common.
I may have to hit you up here in the future cause I may snag one. We were just talking about your experiment in discord.
I tagged you in topic where I used the machine
Any questions I’m here. They make different sizes
Took awhile but I finally got my grow hub. Also pump and accessories for the jars. Got a/c as well. @Mpower11 these readings are with no equipment plugged in. Just hanging in there. I have to say the VPD chart you suggested works great. I manually made adjustments based on the information. Pretty good
Also started to flower three days ago. Just needed to confirm
I didn’t know you ordered one let me know your thoughts on the product.
Nice!!
What kind of Ac is that… Window unit or portable. Also how are you planning on controlling the AC?
Window. 10A. It’s critical for the hub outlets. 10A max per outlet and 15A total for the run.
I got it because the warmer it’s getting the more my intake fan is running and barely keeping it below 80F. The cool mist humidifier and fan is saving me for now.
Niwa grow hub. It was a bit of a fiasco. Took awhile to get here. It was going to be a surprise. ![]()

So I just connected to WiFi and hung the sensor where they recommended and it was a pleasant surprise to see the adjustments I made with the VPD chart seemed to be pretty close!! I’m watching videos about everything I can. So far so good.
Needing a relay and a/c adapter for larger equipment
pulling more amps is a must. You may be familiar with this?
Light is just on off. No adjustments as far as dimming. They have two built in recipes. Two stage and seven stage. You can create your own as well.
That’s as far as I’ve gotten.
I need to check what my light is pulling is all.
Works great
Day is in yellow. Transitions to night. Again was pleasantly surprised with the reading. And I don’t have it hooked up at all.
That was my concern with Ac running it pushes the maximum of the power bar.
Ok I have to ask what is your idea on how vent the window unit? I mostly ask because I looking for idea on how to improve my Ac setup… Mine isn’t perfect but it’s the best I can do at the moment without spending alot of $$$. Plus I’m trying to AC is seal room when doesn’t like things easy…
It was a surprise for the cost it looks like a nice unit
Yes I know what you mean but I’m not the right person to advise how to install… Hydro isn’t my friend I have been zapped in the past and I hope to never be zapped again…lol
I’m not surprised more advanced controls can dim
You know what going to happen your going to get your closet all setup then your going to wish you had a bigger space a least that’s what happened to me…
looks great I knew you would be able to build it with no problems… I put my exit valve inside my jar so that can’t happen but both ways does the same job
Do you have holes in your hose in the jar? and a plug at the bottom of hose?
Yes i did
. I made one to experiment. I have better hose to use. I used the hose the pump came with to practice
I got some hydro tubing. Thicker wall tubing
I did see that. I got top hat grommets that are thicker and just push in the 3/8 hole. The valves fit good. For a super tight fit I put a small piece of tubing just to cover the stem. You almost have to rip it out.
I will reverse the outlet to inside for piece of mind. Thanks for that.
Lol. Already in my big book of things I keep in my head. When I’m in thought my wife ask if I’m going through my book again.
it’s a big book of years of problem solving solutions. I know you have one?![]()
In short I’m not venting it. The compressor isn’t much bigger than your fridge compressor. The window unit just has a bigger fan and coil to disperse coil heat. I set it up and ran it in short increments pretending it was in use. Doesn’t put out enough heat to be concerned imo. Maybe if it ran longer it would get warmer. But if it needs to run longer you get a bigger one so it doesn’t. You want it to get cold faster.
I’m mounting it up high with the back end going into my closet directly behind the black sensor. I’ll put a large register vent above the closet door so the heat can escape. The return air for my house a/c is right around the corner from there so the heat won’t go far
I’m not anticipating alot of heat for this application. ![]()
Your tent in a air conditioned room? Your portable run long? How much heat from a portable? I’ve never used one. My first thought is build a stand and cut a hole in your tent. Figure what size you need so it doesn’t run forever to cool it off. If the amperage is to big you use a ssr relay to bring it down without losing voltage to run it. I got a couple just because. Any relay over 20amp you probably need a Heat sinc to help cool it. Little fan works too.

I have the 3v. I’m going to test it on a power strip with a ten amp trip.
Right now my a/c, humidifier and fan is under 15a. I won’t put my light on it. It’s on its own gfi.
@Mpower11 also I can control everything on the hub remotely from the app. ![]()
Your jar setup looks great!!
I sure do have one… You can’t bet paper and pen…
I’m curious to see how the Ac unit works without venting… Let me know… I know my unit has to be vented or it gets to hot…
My only concern about this air going into your house return vent is you may smell it in your house
Yes but my house Ac isn’t turned on yet… Still to cold outside for it
Yes it runs alot
Lot’s of heat come off it… I have it venting outside from my basement window
Sounds like you have this figured out…
I’m using 3 15 amp circuits for my setup (not maxed out)
1 for Ac nothing else on it…
1 For 1 light and gear
1 for second light and gear
One day I will make a video for you showing my setup from beginning to end
