Closet Build by Gunk

I agree with the smell/heat. My back up plan is to cut a hole in the ceiling in the closet and box it in so the heat goes into the attic. Thinking about it now……. I’m not sure. I’m going to run it longer today and see.

Nice :+1:t2: I am all about doing things right so it doesn’t blow up. We’ll see what happens. I won’t get this in until maybe July depending on the grow.

I couldn’t be more pleased with such a simple way to cure. Thank you for that👍🏻

Before I connected into the exhaust side of my ERV worked to get rid of the heat but I had to disconnect because of smell in the house… I though being on the exhaust side it would work out but it didn’t. Let me know how you make out… Not sure if exhaust into attic will make smell in the house.

Glad you liked it… All you need to do is manual adjust the timer based on how wet / dry the buds are.

I have attic fans that come on automatically just for that. Mostly heat dispersant and smell if need be. I just blew a ton of insulation in there to bring my r rating up.

That should work!!!

@Mpower11
Do you have a schedule for day and night VPD adjustments? I’m finding my self making to stages for day and night to maintain VPD. Also I realized I can create 1.5VPD on the warm side 79f 41% and also on the cooler side. 75f 35%. Which do you prefer? Which for day and which for night. It’s less expensive to run warmer VPD with the lights on. And cooler VPD at night. I think you see where I’m going with this. Also the hub is instant readings by the minute. But it’s WiFi run. WiFi out. No hub adjustments but will maintain your recipe until then. I’m able to see it even when I’m not there. But if the WiFi goes out it will give you the last readings and still maintains recipe/stage. I’m happy with it. My plant seems to like the constant environment. Only two days but I can see it. The hub gives me piece of mind and better accuracy.

Here’s where we’re at. Without freezing my house it’s hard to cool the closet now. I knew it was coming :+1:t2:

Yes I do my controller let’s me set different settings for Day and Night…

out of these 2 I prefer warmer (79) for Day

I prefer cooler setting for Night.

Same as my controller it doesn’t need internet to control current settings but if you want to adjust I can do at the controller or online…

My Day high’s this week are 65 to 70 outside…

I’m jealous about the weather. Thanks for the confirmation. I’m glad I was on the same page. :+1:t2:

@Mpower11 Ok so I have to ask what temperature and humidity combo’s work for you? It’s a pretty big range. All I could find was less humidity during flower.
Also what is your leaf offset temperature? Mine is closer to10 rather than 3-5 degrees. That sound right? How do check your leaf temperature? I used an IR thermometer and just compared it to the room temperature.

Coming along. Made some space in between. It’s gonna be a hot grow until I get the a/c in. Day is 80 and night is 78. But overall the plant looks great :+1:t2:

Week 1 to 5 I run VPD 1.5
Week 6 VPd 2.0 (I want to lower my RH put the plant under stress)
Week 7 to finsh VPD around 2.5 Makes buds dense with the low RH and more trichomes

my is the same

I don’t check it

Nice trim looks alot better… You can even tie down some branches if you want … spread them out

Day you can live with 80 but that is max without co2

Now your night at 78 is kind of high… 72 would be better if possible

Thank you  :+1:t2:

What about your vegetation schedule?
Sorry for all the questions. Really appreciate your input.

I’m confused. How do figure vpd without the leaf temperature?

Do you have a meter or that phono (I think that’s the name) app?

It’s too hard for me to go by distance really hard to get right. I measure the par adjust accordingly.

No worries 1.0 early Veg then to 1.2 VPD in late Veg
