Thanks. My first super crop.
it survived ![]()
Flipped today. Made a nice recovery and the node spacing definitely tightened up. It a big plant so this different from Dos Si Dos. Like always I’m excited to see the outcome.
Hi @Gunk lookin healthy…great on the node spacing
you should try out those LST training clips during VEG stage on your next grow as I think you might like em… …i usually like to go in a bit deeper on the defoliation before the initial flip but understand she just recovered from some high stress supercropping
I’m with ya on that. I should of cropped a week earlier to be honest. I’m going to trim it up a bit this morning with a nutrient change. Thank you ![]()

Better @ChicagoCypher_CC
I should of cropped a week earlier and the timing would of been right on. Give or take a couple days.
Fighting with humidity. The house is humid also which doesn’t help. Be glad when the cooler months are here
nice haircut
the new cut
should help a bit with the humidity in the closet
@ChicagoCypher_CC how much nectar are you adding during flower? I have Flora nectar sugar cane. It calls for a lot.
@ChicagoCypher_CC Please forgive me but you didn’t answer my question about the nectar. How much nectar are you using? GH says the nectar is really for soil. That’s why there’s no feed chart. thanks ![]()

Hi @Gunk sorry for the delay. i used to use BUD CANDY and then switched to FLORA NECTAR… i use 2.5 gallons of water in my 3 gallon bucket…flora nectar’s bottle recommended to use about 25 ml for 2.5 gallons however I only use about 15 - 20 ml…i was required to add more pH up when using the nectar…i only use flora nectar during the flowering stage (week 1 - 6 ish)
No worries. I thought you missed it. So I’m about right. I have a five gallon but probably use four / four and a half. Also trying to avoid burnt tips. Cool man. Thanks
also thanks for the ph tip. ![]()
I got some clips. Is there any reason I can’t clip them while it’s in flower? I’ll just be bending them and not squishing. @ChicagoCypher_CC
I need to stick to medium size plants
this one is huge compared to Dos Si Dos. I don’t want to keep trimming it. I trimmed at flip. I was shooting for 21 day and 42 day trim. Any thoughts or suggestions? @ChicagoCypher_CC
Hi @Gunk i TRY not to touch her during the first three weeks of flower too as i don’t want to interrupt her stretch…its good to let her grow
…however i will trim off anytime in flower when its too crowded, when no light is getting thru, when fan leaves sweat on each other or when bud sites are being directly covered up…i trim up a bit whenever i think she’s getting too thick
I’ll do my best. I do have leaf sweat. Thank you @ChicagoCypher_CC I’ll bend and clip a little to make some light.
go 4 it ![]()
Clipped a tall one. These lst clips should of been with me from the start. Honestly I can’t wait to use them on a new grow. I may do another ATF and main line. This strain seems to be a good candidate. I’ll follow what you’ve posted @ChicagoCypher_CC
I couldn’t bring myself to trim because she’s stretching. I’m going to do my best to avoid it.I already know I’ll have to trim up and remove some weaker flower sites. Now I have branches off the main that are growing taller. The spacing is about an inch. We’ll see. Always a new experience for me. ![]()
I’m anticipating some good flower ![]()

This plant is huge! Seems most of the stretch happens in the dark. Every morning the main tops shoot up about inch and a half and then the plant catches up to the tops the rest of the day. Ok @ChicagoCypher_CC I really need you advice here.
In the picture you can see I have five nodes from flip. So I have eight mains. Each main has ten sites coming off. Some look stronger than others. I’m going to remove some fan leaves tomorrow and am wondering. Sunday is 14 days since flip. I drew a picture for better perspective.
On a side note. The canopy is keeping the cooler air from the a/c from penetrating and my water temps went up. 76f is the average and now 80f.
My roots are very white and healthy though.
Thank you
lookin nice and healthy ![]()
not sure what advice you need as she’s lookin good…i can give your my opinion if she was mine
…i would try to free up some space on your next week’s water change
ten (10) “sites/colas” on each of your eight (8) main colas (4 nodes) can make it a bit crowded …i would recommend to remove lower, inward facing colas that are not expected to reach the top…ones than are skinny …keep the thicker ones as they will produce better buds…i’d do this last deep trim work on your next week’s water change
Sounds good
thank you I feel better. I will do that. Yea she’s definitely healthy and happy. Your advice is appreciated ![]()

Glad I’m waiting for the trim. This morning it stretched over night and also kinda aired itself out by opening up the canopy where I don’t have leaves on top of each other. Also removed the humidifier above so she has room to grow. I had the humidifier and dehumidifier on a small shelf just above. They were blocking some light. I just have the dehumidifier now as I don’t need humidity at this time. I’m at 76f 40%. Once next weeks trim is done the humidity should lower a bit. Thanks for the advice
