Six days. I did it Sunday. Also only took a few out to trim at a time. I’ve had them dry as I was trimming because I brought to much out of the humidity to trim.
I couldn’t be more excited . The day I started trimming the hay smells were gone and smelled dank and sour. “I’ll never dry and trim any other way now!” I had large and medium-medium small nuggets. Very tight and full of trich’s.
Here’s the grand part. 5.86 oz! 3oz of large and 2.86oz of the medium/small.
More and more confident and successful.
Thank you @ChicagoCypher_CC and @Christifer for all your valuable help and advice.
You guys were a part of this success for sure
Many thanks
Thank you. I’m proud of this one for sure.
I just realized August was my first grow year anniversary. Learned a lot from the growers here and a lot of reading.
Blue Dream is next.
How do u change your reservoir water without removing plant and cleaning bucket i clean mine every water change always worried about root rot have hydroguard coming
I change the water every week. Never had root rot. Been using hydroguard since day one. I have a small submersible on the bottom of the left side of the tubing on the bottom. Open and close valves accordingly to drain and fill. I have a transfer pump that I insert into a five gallon water bottle and hook the hose to the the front tubing and open valves accordingly to fill. Also just installed a tiny pump to come on automatically to circulate nutrients down through the top. Comes on once an hour for five minutes.
@John0086 here are some early pictures of the set up. Still the same but added elbows to square it up. You can see where the valves go. There’s two holes left and right on top of the lid. 3/4 I think attach two 1/2 inch irrigation tubes that go down to the bottom of your bucket one to the pump and one just about two inches from the bottom. Two elbows on top and cut and measure in your valves and elbows for the top. Turn the valve on the right off and place a bucket under your T valve. Make sure you let your T valve go past the edge of the lid when you install. This way the water can reach your drain bucket. You can put a hose on the end if you like. I still lift lid to add nutrients. When you fill make sure both valves are open. draining you close the right valve. Drains faster.

30 day cure time has passed. I sampled half way thru and was very pleased so far. Today is the prime bud test. I believe so far it’s an uplifting clean high. Love it Best of my few grows. This is a lower thc but delivers. I’m finding some of the heavier strains can be to much for me. I’m really happy with this ATF harvest.
On a side note. I vacuum seal my bovedas after I use them. These are a year old and still new.
General rule is to leave three or four nodes from the top down. All your mains should only have a couple or one satellite branch . Keep the strongest best growing satellite branches. Assuming you have only six mains is what works for me.
I’m not an expert. There is a lot of knowledge here.
Also after the trim I’d let her recover for at least a week.
@John0086 It crossed my mind yesterday that you should keep in mind the size and growth rate of your plant. I myself would keep my mains and satellites to a minimum. This way the energy isn’t spread thin when making flowers. My first grow had no satellites just six or eight mains. It was in the grobo. Take into consideration the size of your space and light power. Good water also.
