thanks @Gunk appreciate the nice words. just curious to know if there is a reason you track 21 days from when you topped?
I got the idea from a grower. Keeps me from trimming to often. I’m going to trim some today and flip in a couple days. And no more trimming. Only twice. Seems to work for me. I was taught to watch the plant and not the time so much. So give or take a couple days. Builds some solid stalks it seems as well . I’m not going to supercrop this time. The stalks are to thick IMO. We’ll see.
Looking good nice and healthy/sturdy.
Day 53 (Day 3 of FLOWER )
-
36 hrs of darkness
provided after they recovered well from last week’s deep trim
-
ready for the stretch
Day 17 FLOWER (Day 67)
-
filled up the tent
… needed to remove large fan leaves that were blocking buds and sweating on each other
-
coming along well
after 2 + weeks of going to 12/12 hrs
-
still stretching
Looking great . Another exciting time of flower. My favorite part.
thanks @Gunk
Day 24 FLOWER (Day 74 overall)
-
tent filled out
-
removed large fan leaves
-
bent down the tallest cola
on the right
-
getting sticky
and stanky
-
drinking a lot with a new need for mid-week top offs
Man they are tall! Your flowers look like they’re ready for takeoff . Already showing signs of greatness.
mine are a bit smaller it seems.
Also in that article about trimming it does say about three weeks into flower for a trim. 21 days. So maybe the information I got was similar.
Love it. Looking great as always.
much appreciated again @Gunk
hope they stop stretching soon…their just under 4’ tall now
some growers recommend to avoid trimming weeks 1-3 of flower to avoid stunting your grows during the major “stretch” period
i like to go by the following for my flower time trimming:
Defoliate when…
- Plants are growing fast and healthy
- The plant is so bushy that light and air can’t get through
- Leaves are laying on top of each other forming wet spots
- Leaves are covering bud sites and can’t be tucked away
- Plants are still in the first 6 weeks of the flowering stage
Do NOT defoliate a plant that’s not bushy and try not to over-defoliate
Very nice looking. Gonna be a good turn out .
You use ILGM for seeds?
yep… i have really enjoyed using ILGM…their customer service is great…they back their 100% germination guarantee too
